This week was very eventful, but I'll make it quick. Had a District P-Day and played some spikeball. Had an exchange with the DL and learned a lot from him. The AP came to our area and did an exchange for two days. It was really fun, and I learned a lot from him as well. Went to a scary part of town, got a baptism date, and my comp left the phone there. He took the phone and sold it for cash in under an hour. So he can't get baptized anymore. Same house earlier in the week, our friend was holding a bird (I don't know why they always have birds), but the bird got out of his hands and flew straight into the dog's mouth. Our friend went over to the dog and hit the dog until he dropped it. Don't worry, the bird was okay—I was just trying to hold in my laugh. Had the DL buzz my head, and then got sunburned on my head. I finally got some pics, so I will be able to share some things about the people. 1. This is my boy Julio (he's jacked), we're dawgs even though I can't talk to him or understand him. Usually, I just try to ask him if he has worked out today. He's so funny though. Also, he has the best "Yes" I have heard here in Villa. Also, his dad is a former "Drug Lord"??? But we went into his dad's house to try to get them married so they could get baptized, but it smelled like weed, so we just had a quick lesson. 2. Forgot his name, but he's pretty cool. 3. This is Gabriella?? I think, really weird name if you ask me. But he was a former futbol pro and played in Cordoba. Then he went here to play semi-pro, but he had a stroke from smoking his whole life (I really can't understand one thing he says). But he is baptized, so don't worry. 4. Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. This week was, ngl, one of the longest weeks of my life. We went to zone conference this week, and that was really fun to see some of my CCM friends. Every day, we visit the members in this area, and tbh, I really don't know if we are supposed to or if we aren't. My comp keeps saying this is how we find people, but we haven't found anyone new since I have gotten here. When I got here, the house was so gross, and when I walked in, he said this is the cleanest it has ever been. There were gnats everywhere, and the guy before me told my comp, "Don't worry, they don't bite." There are dogs, like, literally everywhere. I knew when I got called to a South American country that there would be dogs, but not this many. The dead dogs are the hardest to see. But when there is a dog fight, like 10 come out of the dust and start cheering on who they want to win. Sadly, I can't have Google Photos anymore. Spanish still ...

Wow, it has been a minute since I have emailed. I think it has been like three weeks, but I will update everything super quick. The last two weeks in the CCM were okay. It was fun talking to everyone and getting closer with my house, but everything was cool. I really miss it though. I flew from Mexico to Buenos Aires on a 9-hour flight and went to a hotel for like two hours and then flew to Cordoba. So, it was like 26 hours of travel, so everyone was super tired. We had a whole day to sleep and recoup a little and get to know the mission and the mission presidents. The next day, we woke up and did some stuff, and then we got our trainers. I got Elder Miller. He is super cool. He’s just out of training, but he is so, so good at Spanish and knows the area really well. I am in Villa del Rosario. The area is kinda poor, and the people are really nice. I just started week five, so that is crazy to me. One of the days, while playing ultimate frisbee, I ran into Elder Dains so bad that we both went flying, so that was pretty funny. Spanish is still really hard, but all I can do is try my best and pray. Overall, a good week. Another temple run—that is good. I have two weeks left here, and then I’m off. I am really excited and ready for it. We keep trying to get our teacher to bring us food from the outside world that we see so little of. He said that he would bring churros on the last day. That would be a miracle. Nothing crazy this week. Sorry for the boring email; I will try better next week.

Wow, this week flew by. From Monday to Saturday was all a blur for me. Then all of a sudden, fast Sunday hit and it was like a whole week in one day. Also had to teach a lesson and was told it was going to be in English, then there were like eight Spanish-speaking missionaries. But me and my comp improvised, so it was good. Every day we play ultimate frisbee and I try my best to represent the 801. One day we did my soccer with some missionaries from Mexico and lost, but it was really fun. The food is not so good, but what can you do? The Tienda (store) is saving my life. Everything in there is so cheap and Spanish candy is pretty good. It is the same schedule every day and I have 3 weeks left here, which doesn't feel real. Spanish is super hard, but I am learning something new every day, so I think that is all that matters. Hey buddy! Can you believe you’re in week 2? How has this week been? Has it been harder or easier? Today was Jackson’s farewell. I didn’t know about it, so I didn’t go. We had another homecoming/farewell in our ward today. It was the kid we saw in Sunday school your last Sunday here that was sitting with his dad. He’s doing a service mission. He was really cute. You can tell he’s special needs when he talks. He talked about the difference between a service mission and a proselyting mission. He described it as proselyting missionaries are the voice of the Lord and service missionaries are the hands of the Lord. I liked that. Today we did Nixon and Kai’s family birthday party. His birthday is this Thursday. We did it at Riverton Park. Easton and Canon both couldn’t come. Canon is in St. George at the Black Desert PGA golf tournament, and Easton is on his way back from riding dirt bikes in Orderville with his friends. It was sad not to have any of you there.
