I finally got some pics, so I will be able to share some things about the people.

1. This is my boy Julio (he's jacked), we're dawgs even though I can't talk to him or understand him. Usually, I just try to ask him if he has worked out today. He's so funny though. Also, he has the best "Yes" I have heard here in Villa. Also, his dad is a former "Drug Lord"??? But we went into his dad's house to try to get them married so they could get baptized, but it smelled like weed, so we just had a quick lesson.

2. Forgot his name, but he's pretty cool.

3. This is Gabriella?? I think, really weird name if you ask me. But he was a former futbol pro and played in Cordoba. Then he went here to play semi-pro, but he had a stroke from smoking his whole life (I really can't understand one thing he says). But he is baptized, so don't worry.

4. This is Jorge and his son, they are on date to be baptized. I can't understand what he says at all, but he talks about it. He’s cool. (Had to look, locked in for the pic.)

5. This is Blanca and her grandkids. She is related to the whole church, but their family is so nice and fun to talk to. When the area was just barely opened 5 months ago, she said a prayer to find the real church, and the missionaries then knocked on her door.

6. This is the Diaz mission couple, they are cool and buy us Coke and come teach with us. I can't understand them too, haha.

7. (Pondering about speaking Spanish and how everyone's life would be better if they just came to church.)

8. These are GASSSS.

I got to admit, I knew the mission was hard, but not this hard. I miss my family and friends every day, and I don't even think I'm close to getting out of the hard part. But I just try to take it a day at a time.

CHRISTMAS!!!!! Hola!!! ¿Todo bien? This Christmas was definitely different, to say the least. Here they celebrate it really on the 24th. They stay up till midnight and then light fireworks when it turns the 25th, kinda like New Year's. We went to a recent convert's house named Jorge (he is the only one that wanted us). His house was fun; we talked (my comp) and then ate an asado. There were cockroaches everywhere in this house. During the night, one was crawling under my chair, and I freaked out. Then the cat and the dog came fighting for it. (The cat won.) When I was there, it was interesting to see how happy everyone was. There was no tree, no presents— all they had was dinner for Christmas. Yet they were happier than when Easton and Canon got their Xbox 360, happier than me when I got my hoverboard. All we really need in our life is Christ. If we focus on Him, we can be happier. When we follow Him, even though it's hard, we can be happier. Merry Christmas!!!

ONE MONTH DOWN

I just started week five, so that is crazy to me. One of the days, while playing ultimate frisbee, I ran into Elder Dains so bad that we both went flying, so that was pretty funny. Spanish is still really hard, but all I can do is try my best and pray. Overall, a good week. Another temple run—that is good. I have two weeks left here, and then I’m off. I am really excited and ready for it. We keep trying to get our teacher to bring us food from the outside world that we see so little of. He said that he would bring churros on the last day. That would be a miracle. Nothing crazy this week. Sorry for the boring email; I will try better next week.
