ULTIMATE FRISBEE MJ
Wow, this week flew by. From Monday to Saturday was all a blur for me. Then all of a sudden, fast Sunday hit and it was like a whole week in one day. Also had to teach a lesson and was told it was going to be in English, then there were like eight Spanish-speaking missionaries. But me and my comp improvised, so it was good.
Every day we play ultimate frisbee and I try my best to represent the 801. One day we did my soccer with some missionaries from Mexico and lost, but it was really fun. The food is not so good, but what can you do? The Tienda (store) is saving my life. Everything in there is so cheap and Spanish candy is pretty good.
It is the same schedule every day and I have 3 weeks left here, which doesn't feel real. Spanish is super hard, but I am learning something new every day, so I think that is all that matters. I am super pumped to go to Argentina, but I know that I will not understand anything and it will be super hard, but that is why I am here.
I really like my district and my teachers. It is so funny to talk about the differences in America and Mexico. They think Carl's Jr. has the best burger, so I told them they need to try something in the states. I really miss good food. But I am getting into the groove here.
I went to the temple today too. We did endowments and it was way better than I thought (maybe because I had to read everything). But I understood it a lot better than the first time. I love the temple and I know it is how we can get back to Him. I feel His love for us in the temple and it makes me so happy. He really does bless us as much as He can.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
MOSIAH 4:19-21
"19 For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and for gold, and for silver, and for all the riches which we have of every kind?
20 And behold, even at this time, ye have been calling on His name, and begging for a remission of your sins. And has He suffered that ye have begged in vain? Nay; He has poured out His Spirit upon you, and has caused that your hearts should be filled with joy, and has caused that your mouths should be stopped that ye could not find utterance, so exceedingly great was your joy.
21 And now, if God, who has created you, on whom you are dependent for your lives and for all that ye have and are, doth grant unto you whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing that ye shall receive, O then, how ye ought to impart of the substance that ye have one to another."
Okay, I know that was long, but it is so good. We ALL depend on God no matter what. Everything we have is all because of God and is God's. How merciful is He that has planned a perfect way back to Him. I cannot even comprehend how much He loves us. Please go to Him for anything, ANYTHING! He wants to hear from you!
